At Customs4trade, we believe working together can make amazing things happen and on a cold Christmas night, the C4T team did just that.
More than 30 members of staff gathered in our offices just outside Mechelen to take part in a charity auction that raised €3.302 for the children’s cancer charity vzw KinderKankerFonds.
KinderKankerFonds, is a cancer charity that has been supporting children and families in Belgium for more than 30 years offering care and financial assistance to children affected by cancer as well as helping hospitals with additional equipment and staff to support their work. The charity supports pediatric oncology departments in Gent, Antwerp, Brussels, and Leuven.
“We want to say a big thank you to the employees of Customs4trade for the trust in our organisation and the beautiful initiative leading up to their office move”, said Jolien Scherpereel from vzw KinderKankerFonds.

The auction marked the final day of our old offices and featured a wide range of items from garden furniture and lamps to laptops, computers, kitchen supplies, and even two mystery boxes, which we no longer needed as the company moves to its new location closer to the city centre and a five-minute walk from the Mechelen train station. The evening was full of laughter and fun and the bidding was made in the spirit of giving with plenty of friendly rivalry that helped raise prices for the benefit of our chosen charity.
As we say goodbye to our old office, we do so with a great sense of pride knowing that our collective effort has provided support to those in need. This auction has not only marked the end of an era but also the beginning of a promising new chapter as we look forward to settling into our brand new shiny offices in January.
We wish you all a Happy New Year!
